Mental Health Matters

At the Amani Center, we are proud to offer an internal Mental Health Program designed to integrate mental health providers into the forensic interview process. This approach ensures immediate crisis support and stabilization, expert consultation with our multidisciplinary team, and therapeutic recommendations tailored to each child’s needs.

Beyond the forensic setting, our mental health providers offer outpatient mental health services, including comprehensive assessments and short-term, trauma-focused treatment. Our dedicated team also leads sexual abuse prevention efforts within the community, providing psychoeducational trainings, resources, and support in various community-based settings. We actively partner with trauma-informed organizations at the local, state, and national levels to promote healing, resilience, and prevention.
